Just keep going.

Well, today was nursery day at church! I got to hold the most precious little girl until she fell asleep in my arms. Nothing like those moments! Started week 2 of Run for God. Whew... I'm ready to master that one, or at least get better at it. It wasn't as difficult as it sounded to me and of course, I feel much better after completing it!!! I can get skill at running!! Food choices were great today as well!! I made vegan chocolate ice cream and it was delicious. Even my mom and sister loved it!! Just a frozen banana, some almond milk, and a little cocoa powder put it in the Vitamix (or high powered blender) and voila yummy ice cream!! I hope everyone else is doing well on their goals!!!

Rainy day

Well it was a rainy day but a successful one! I cleaned my bedroom and all the drawers in my dresser. Started organizing clothes. I made a mess and it's still in progress but I have found that I am blessed beyond measure. I have a home to clean, I have food to eat, I have too many clothes and shoes to wear, and family/friends that love and care for me. A person could not ask for anything more! I got my run in this evening when the rain let up. I cannot tell if I'm getting better or not. Tomorrow we have to step it up another notch. I'm a bit nervous!! I got this! I hope everyone else is doing well!!!

Rain, Rain, we needed you

The rain was a nice one today. My favorite is when it is bright, sunny, and rainy. It's so beautiful. My second favorite is the way it was today. The dark clouds, the sun peeking through far off, and then the torrential downpour. Needless to say I don't want to be caught driving or walking in it but, getting to stare outside my window at work at the beauty sure made for a wonderful day!! Made it another day to the gym with my bestie! Went for a 2.4 mile walk at lunch with my buddy. :) It was just sprinkling when we walked to our "walking location" and then it poured while we walked inside and then it let up again when we made it back. We were definitely blessed! I had a great eating day until dinner time. I decided to have celery with peanut butter. Well, it's upsetting me now. I just keep forgetting how peanut butter reacts to my body. When will I learn? It just tastes so YUMMY! I hope everyone else is counting their successes!! Each minor step is a HUGE milestone!
